Before & After

The top picks from our staff!

Stephen Weitz

Stephen Weitz - Producing Ensemble Director

Dinner before the show - The Med (Erin agrees!):  Delicious tapas and the pre-show happy hour specials are a great deal!

Conversation after - L'Atelier:  Lovely ambiance and excellent dessert and wine choices.

Drinks before or after - The Speakeasy Bar at Vapor Distillery:  One of our sponsors makes some delicious cocktails!

Rebecca Remaly Weitz

Rebecca Remaly - Managing Director

Dinner before the show - Pizzeria Locale: Amazing authentic pizza, cooked in a gorgeous pizza oven shipped over from Naples. Great wine list, and don't forget the butterscotch pudding for dessert.

Conversation after the show - Cork: Great wine list, specialty martinis, local microbrews on tap, and some pretty amazing desserts!

Drinks before or after - Zolo Grill: Over 150 tequilas to choose from, and fantastic house margaritas. Just a couple blocks from the Dairy Center!

Heather Beasley

Heather Beasley - Director of Programs & Grants

Dinner before the show - The Kitchen Next Door: The food is date-night quality, but the prices and menu choices are family-friendly. Best of all, on certain nights, a cut of the restaurant's sales go to help Boulder County kids learn how to garden!

Conversation after the show - Dushanbe Teahouse: It closes too early to be a late-night spot, but the Teahouse at night is a beautiful place on a Sunday evening. Get a pot of tea and a sweet bite to eat while dishing about the play.

OR Laughing Goat Coffeehouse: Beer, wine, local desserts and great coffee make this a fabulous spot for intense conversations about big ideas.

Drinks before or after - The Bitter Bar: the drive to West Pearl is worth it if you're a craft cocktail fan. Their signature cocktails are intriguing and tasty, and their bartenders are up for whatever adventure you have in mind. Get there during happy hour before the show if you can, and try the O.G. or a Kiss the Sky.

Erin Wright

Erin Wright - Director of Development

Dinner before the show - The Med (Stephen agrees!): Their Happy Hour from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM everyday is one of the best in town. Three words: Sangria and tapas.

Drinks before or after - Conor O'Neill's: Traditional Irish Pub and Restaurant. A casual, laid back environment with a good drink menu. Live music on the weekends.
