BETC second show of Season 1 was a duo of complementary one-acts from Tony, Pulitzer, and Academy award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley (Moonstruck, Doubt). While hanging out at the hole-in-the-wall Bronx bar on a weekday night, Shanley’s characters explore matters that could save them or break them. Mixed with sharp humor, dark secrets, and chilling confessions, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and Savage in Limbo explored the realms of loneliness, forgiveness and human connection.

BETC’s production of DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA was nominated for a 2007 Denver Post Ovation Award for Best Drama.
