The SantaLand Diaries

The SantaLand Diaries by David Sedaris

Adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello

Directed by Rebecca Remaly
Produced in partnership with the Dairy Center for the Arts

December 10-20, 2009

BETC is delighted to present Boulder with a new recipe for Holiday Hilarity!
We start with Sedaris' true story of working as an elf at the Macy's flagship store in New York City. Add returning guest artist and popular local actor Geoffrey Kent. Sprinkle in inherent cynicism, gleeful wickedness, and an elf outfit. Bake at 420°.
You’ll wonder how you survived the holidays before BETC’s The SantaLand Diaries!

"Thanks to Sedaris’ writing and Kent’s interpretation, The SantaLand Diaries decks the halls with peals of laughter. It pokes fun at the frivolities of the holidays, yet honors their true meaning, and it is quite possibly the best Christmas-themed show playing this month."
